Rust tutorial servers

It switches on Facepunch's new-player tutorial. You start on a private island and learn the basics: gathering, crafting, building and cooking. Once you finish, you join the main map with everyone else. The server keeps its usual rates and rules.

For the first hour, yes. You learn the controls without another player killing you. After that you are on the same map as everyone else, so check the Group column and the Tags column for gather rates if you want a gentler start. Many large official servers keep the tutorial switched on, so you can see normal play early.

Yes. They follow the same wipe schedule as any Rust server. Most run monthly wipes, with fewer on weekly or biweekly cycles. A wipe resets the map but only resets blueprints if the server chooses to do so. Check a server's page for its upcoming wipe estimate.

Yes. The tutorial itself is solo, but once you finish you join the normal map and can team up. Check the Group column first. Some servers set a low team limit, so if you want to play together, pick one that fits your group size.
